"Demirýollary" AOOJ, located within the structure of the "Türkmendemirýollary" agency, provides passenger and freight transportation services.
Due to the increasing number of passengers, in addition to the established schedule of passenger train routes, additional passenger train services are being introduced in our country with the aim of improving the quality of services provided to passengers and meeting the needs of our citizens who wish to travel by rail.
"Demirýollary" AOOJ serves approximately 6 million passengers each year. In the "Passenger" department, 5000 skilled workers are employed to ensure the comfort and safety of passengers during their journey. "Demirýollary" AOOJ implements the full range of services related to freight transportation by rail and has its most representative offices throughout the territory of Turkmenistan.
It offers the lowest (minimum) railway rates (tariffs) for export, import and transit freight transportation through Turkmenistan for the CIS, the Baltic states, Iran, Afghanistan, China, Europe and other Asian countries. Accordingly, within a short timeframe, it serves customers by calculating railway freight transportation rates.
"Turkmenistan's Transport and Logistics Center" AOOJ carries out mixed modes of freight transportation including automobile, rail, air, sea and container transportation, from the point of cargo loading to the point of unloading, and also performs loading-unloading work, goods storage, and customs clearance procedures. The "Türkmendemirýollary" agency holds a 35% stake in "Turkmenistan's Transport and Logistics Center" AOOJ.
